FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, January 17, 2017

Open house for proposed West Lake Samm neighborhood projects

West Lake Sammamish residents will have an opportunity to preview Neighborhood Enhancement Program projects proposed for their area at an open house on Feb. 2, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Phantom Lake Elementary School (1050 160th Ave. SE).

Attendees can expect to learn more about the types and locations of the 115 project ideas that were submitted for consideration, as well as the process for project selection and development. Participants will also be able to discuss the proposed projects with city staff and offer direct feedback.

The selection process will continue in late February when each household in the West Lake Sammamish neighborhood area will receive a ballot to select three projects to be funded with the $179,000 NEP allocation.

More information about the proposed West Lake Sammamish ballot projects and the Neighborhood Enhancement Program is available. You can also contact community relations coordinator Emily Kish at 425-452-4186 or ekish@bellevuewa.gov.
